Only 5 million US citizens use mobile internet. [Fri Mar 30, 11:28AM]

Media-Screen preformed a study on the use of mobile internet in the US amongst people who have broadband internet. 60% of the US citizens has a mobile device which can connect to the internet but only 5 million use it.

The main reason for mobile internet being unpopular are due to the costs and connectivity issues including coverage.

The report also states that those who are using mobile internet perform an average of 3.3 online activities on their mobile device per session, compared to 13.4 activities on regular PC.
