Global operators launch mobile alliance against child sexual abuse content [Wed Feb 13, 08:55PM]

The GSMA has teamed with major global operators to launch the Mobile Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse Content.

The Alliance is tasked with obstructing the use of themobile environment by individuals or organisations wishing to consume or profit from child sexual abuse content.

Hutchison 3G Europe, mobilkom Austria, Orange FT Group, Telecom Italia, Telefónica/O2, TeliaSonera, TMobile Group, Vodafone Group and dotMobi have joined forced with the GSMA to create significant barriers to the misuse of mobile networks and services for hosting, accessing or profiting from child sexual abuse content.
