This news came to me from a very thrustworthy source who wouldn't (or couldn't) tell me exactly what it will be all about but Sony Ericsson is planning another productanouncement within the next two weeks, despite the fact they just released a trio of new Walkmanphones, erlier this week.

So, are they going to introduce another new phone, accessories or new services. We'll have to wait and see but in the meantime: 'Ladies and Gentleman, start your speculation!'

iPhone details keep emerging [Sat Dec 16, 11:54AM]

According to Think Secret sources more and more details about Apple's long awaited iPhone are emerging now that the release date grows closer.

Sources report that the iPhone will bs a GSM/EDGE (2.5G) phone and not a UMTS (3G) device. Apple's decision to go with 2.5G lies in the technology's advantages over 3G: physically smaller components and more reliable communication.

Apple is also said to be courting as many GSM providers as possible across major markets in North America, Europe, and Asia in an attempt to maximize its initial opportunity in the mobile phone market.... read on

Pictures of the Nokia N93i [Thu Nov 30, 11:59AM]

It's always nice to see a new model of a high end cell phone. That is, as long as you're not the one that just paid top-dollar for the, then obsolete, predecessor.

So, if you just bought a Nokia N93 it’s probably a good idea to turn your head and look the other way because we’re going to present a couple of new shots of what’s should be the N93i.

A couple of weeks ago the first pictures were leaked, without mentioning any specs of the upgraded version of The Media Phone Of The Year. This time around there are still no specs, but by the look of it the N93i will most likely a cosmetic upgrade. More shots:... read on

Is this the HTC Trinity ? [Sat Jul 1, 10:13AM]

HTC recently announced that they were going to sell mobile (smart)phones under their own brand. The first two phones they introduced were the TyTN and the MTeoR, a.k.a. Hermes and Breeze and next week they'll be introducing that Hunchback phone through Virgin Mobile.

Today we found this phone on a Russian website. It's supposed to be called the HTC Trinity, but unlike the Trinity we all loved to know from the Matrix this one's a lot less appealing. Then again, this is a Smartphone and no hot girl dressed in latex ;-)

The Trinity seems to have the same Windows Mobile 5.0 as the HTC's Hermes, with the main addition of GPS and some reworked face buttons. There's 64MB of RAM, 128MB of ROM, a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth, WiFi, EDGE, HSDPA and a microSD slot. Just like the Hermes there are VGA and 2.0 megapixel cameras, and the phone is similarly slim at 0.7-inches thick. No more info as to when this will be out.
