Nielsen: Content failing mobile TV [Thu Feb 21, 11:22AM]

Mobile operators are unable to maintain mobile TV subscriber levels due to poor content, according to new research from Nielsen Mobile unveiled at yesterday’s Mobile Backstage event.

Voracious usage of mobile entertainment in the prime 18 to 34 year-old bracket across the globe would seem to be the target market for mobile TV subscription.

While this user group is indeed signing up to experience mobile TV and video services, operators are apparently finding it hard to keep hold of them.
